Prior to ascending the throne, Oba Adejuwon served for over two decades with the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), specialising in taxation, auditing, and financial management. His expertise earned recognition in public finance and taxation. In parallel, he studied theology and served in ministry as a deacon and assistant pastor with the Redeemed Christian Church of God.
Ascension to the Throne
On 13 January 2017, he was enthroned as the 10th Onisan of Isan-Ekiti, from the Adejuwon family of the Ilomi ruling house. His ascension ushered in a new era of progressive traditional leadership that harmonises professional expertise with royal duties.

As Onisan, His Royal Majesty serves as traditional ruler and cultural custodian, leading community initiatives, mediating conflicts, and representing Isan-Ekiti within Ekiti State’s traditional institutions. In August 2021, he was appointed Chairman, Ekiti State Council of Traditional Rulers, reflecting the esteem of his peers and the state government.
